Sony has introduced updates to its Pro BRAVIA display lineup, aiming to address the requirements of a demanding retail landscape, according to Installation International. Digital displays have become a crucial element in attracting and engaging retail customers.

The forthcoming Pro BRAVIA series, slated for release in 2026, integrates enhanced picture quality, simplified operation, and improved integration capabilities. Reporting indicates that the BZ-P series incorporates advanced image processing technologies, while the EZ20L series offers a more accessible signage option.

Specific models, like the BZ35P and BZ40P, now satisfy the IP5X dust-resistance standard, guaranteeing durability. The BZ-P series uses Sony’s XR Processor, which utilizes artificial intelligence to analyze scenes, and features Deep Black Non-Glare technology to minimize reflections and maintain contrast.

Beyond performance, Sony has focused on streamlining the user experience. A newly designed setup wizard is intended to accelerate installation, and the Remote Device Manager facilitates remote display management. The displays are designed to work with existing content management systems. Furthermore, energy usage has been lowered by as much as 31% compared to earlier models, and the displays utilize recycled plastic derived from water bottles and optical media.
