Ashun Sound Machines has released Diosynth Live, a companion app for iOS and Android designed for live performance use with the Diosynth instrument, alongside firmware v1.2.3 and Diosynth Manager v1.2.0. ashunsoundmachines reported that the app connects via USB or Bluetooth MIDI and organizes controls into Favorites, Setup, and MIDI pages.
The Favorites page offers a Perform mode for quick patch recall and an Edit mode for adding, reordering, and organizing favorites that stay synchronized with the instrument. Diosynth Manager v1.2.0 introduces the Favorites system to the desktop application, with patches markable from bank lists and accessible through a dedicated tab.
The update adds automatic preset backup before firmware updates requiring factory reset, backup-to-bank conversion, Excel bank export, improved sorting, updated visualizers, and stability refinements. Firmware v1.2.3 delivers smoother joystick and parameter response, improved Favorites synchronization, better MIDI data stability, and refined Trill key and side-key behavior for trumpet and flute fingerings.
Full patch browsing, bank management, and firmware updates remain handled through the Diosynth Manager desktop application.
