Ballistica Ltd is introducing Novox audio products to UK dealers, giving music retailers a simplified entry point into the recording, podcasting and content creation markets, the Music Industries Association reported.
The initial launch focuses on three products: the Novox NCX USB condenser microphone with four selectable pickup patterns, the entry-level Novox NC1 USB microphone with plug-and-play operation, and the Novox One Air wireless microphone system for video creators and presenters.
Ballistica sees an opportunity for independent music shops to become a local source of both products and advice for podcasting and gaming audio customers, where few dedicated physical retailers currently operate. The company notes that Novox gives dealers a practical way to respond to customer enquiries with plug-and-play USB microphones for desktop use and a simple wireless option for customers creating content on the move.
