Boris FX has released an update to Samplitude that introduces a Spatial Panner tool for stereo, surround, and immersive mixing workflows. This Spatial Panner is built to cut down on repetitive tasks and improve overall production efficiency. According to Patrick Donohoe, director of product marketing at Boris FX Pro Audio, the new tool lets users manage multiple mix formats within a single connected workspace.

The BandRack plugin splits audio signals into up to six distinct frequency bands, enabling VST3 plugins to be assigned to specific bands. It provides five presets along with 33 built-in effects and 16 customizable macros that control multiple parameters via a single slider. Users can now trigger Samplitude menu commands from an Elgato Stream Deck using the Stream Deck OSC plugin. The Spatial Panner also supports linear-phase and zero-latency modes for enhanced audio processing.
