ChamSys has officially released MediaMaster 26.0 Stable, marking the first full production version of the platform since the company acquired the product and software portfolio, which includes MediaMaster, KlingNet, and Grand VJ. LSi Online reported that this launch delivers on the vision of one console, one server, and one show. The release combines the stability and worldwide support structure of ChamSys with continued development from the original MediaMaster engineering team, who are now working full-time for the company.
The software features a brand-new user interface designed for faster and more intuitive operation in both studio and touring environments. Updated project and workspace tools provide designers with flexible ways to organize shows, media assets, and layouts. Workflow improvements include custom GDTF fixture export and the incorporation of the ChamSys Heads library into the LED Mapper for pixel-mapping tasks.
Built to meet modern show production demands, the platform supports up to 48 layers of 4K HDR media playback with advanced blending. It unites video and pixel mapping capabilities while supporting control via Art-Net, sACN, CITP, and NDI protocols. Alongside the software, ChamSys has begun production of the MediaMaster VS range of dedicated media servers. Future updates will add USB-MIDI support and Sig-Net protocol compliance, with a free upgrade to version 27.0 offered to early adopters.
