Eastern Acoustic Works announced the availability of the NT119S and NT219S active subwoofers, debuting on September 1, 2026. These new models aim to establish a benchmark in low-frequency performance for large-scale applications.
The NT119S incorporates a 19-inch driver with integrated 4000W amplification. This design provides 25% greater displacement compared to conventional 18-inch subwoofer designs, and reaches a maximum sound pressure level of 136dB, with a frequency response extending down to 25 Hz.
The NT219S model utilizes two 19-inch drivers and features 8000W of onboard power. It achieves a peak sound pressure level of 142dB, also extending down to 25 Hz. Both subwoofers are engineered to be deployed either in a flown or ground-stacked arrangement.
EAW’s Optimum Array Alignment (OAA) software, version 1.1, is compatible with the new subwoofers. This software offers features like support for throw distances up to 300 feet, a high-frequency boost button for the NT206L, calculation of array weight and height, and a subwoofer array guide for both cardioid and end-fire configurations. The NT119S and NT219S are now accessible through EAW’s network of authorized partners globally.
