Music Man has introduced a series of new guitar models inspired by the playing style of Albert Lee. The instruments feature a familiar control layout, incorporating Level, Tone, Compression, and Blend settings, which represents a fresh approach to a design that has been refined for over 25 years.

The company's history began in 2001 with a single compressor pedal built by Robert Keeley, which ultimately helped establish the company within the boutique pedal market. The development of better compression techniques was the initial focus, and it has since become a cornerstone of Keeley’s product line.

The new instruments are constructed at Keeley Electronics in Oklahoma City and offer selectable true-bypass or buffered switching. The pedal’s design includes a switch to adjust the recovery time based on whether single coil or humbucking pickups are being used, with slower recovery for single coils and faster recovery for humbuckers.
