Fender and the Fender Custom Shop have unveiled three new John 5 signature Telecaster models: the Fender John 5 Phantom Telecaster, Fender John 5 Ghost Telecaster and Fender Custom Shop John 5 “Phantom” Telecaster, according to a Premier Guitar report. Each model captures a different facet of his style and musical range, bringing his signature sound and design to more players across a range of price points.

Justin Norvell, Fender Chief Product Officer, Guitars, said bringing the Ghost back into the Fender lineup puts John 5’s signature design within reach of more players. Chase Paul, Fender Custom Shop Director, noted the Custom Shop model features a single-bound body with Ultra Contours, a single volume control and killswitch.

In related product news, Cort Guitars officially unveiled the KX500 Baritone, a specialized addition to the KX Series engineered for players using low tunings. The instrument features a 28.03-inch scale length, okoume body with English Walnut veneer, Seymour Duncan Sentient and Nazgûl humbuckers, and a new Cort hardtail bridge with string-thru-body construction.

MONO also announced a new collaboration with Teisco, introducing three limited-edition colorways on the Vertigo Electric Guitar Case. The Orange, Sage and Lavender options carry a street price of $299.99, according to the report.
