Fender has entered the performance pad controller market with a new product line called Fender Motion, according to MusicTech. The devices were initially previewed at the recent NAMM convention.
MusicTech reports that Fender Motion controllers are offered in two versions: a 16-pad model and a 32-pad model. The controllers are designed to function with Fender Studio Pro, which previously operated under the PreSonus Studio One brand until early 2026.
Features of the Fender Motion controllers include a chord mode, as well as RGB touch encoders and touch strips. Notably, the controllers utilize FATAR pads, marking the initial collaboration of its kind for FATAR. While specifically designed for Fender Studio Pro, the controllers are also compatible with other widely used digital audio workstations.
The Fender Motion 16 pad controller is priced at £239, while the Fender Motion 32 pad controller carries a price tag of £299, as detailed by MusicTech.
