Gator Rackworks Adds 2U Rack Drawers

TAMPA, Fla. – Gator Rackworks has released two 2U rack drawers designed to organize and protect wireless microphone components for live sound, houses of worship, touring rigs, schools, theaters and production environments.
The series includes a drawer for six handheld wireless microphones (GRW-DRWHANDHELD6) and a drawer for 12 wireless body packs (GRW-DRWBDYPK12). Both models feature a compact 2U rackmount design with a 14.2 depth, giving users a dedicated storage option for wireless gear, batteries and small accessories.
Each drawer is built from cold-rolled 16-gauge steel with a black powder-coated finish. Fully enclosed construction, spring-loaded latches and heavy-duty smooth-glide drawer slides help keep equipment protected while allowing quick access during setup and teardown.
Inside, fitted EVA foam inserts provide dedicated storage locations for wireless components. The handheld microphone drawer includes six microphone nests and four AA battery nests, while the body pack drawer includes 12 body pack nests, six AA battery nests and two small accessory nests. The battery slots are also sized to fit many rechargeable lithium-ion battery options.
