K Urban Beach Club, situated along the Tagus River in Lisbon, recently completed a significant overhaul of its audio infrastructure, according to KV2 Audio. The establishment, which functions as a restaurant, cocktail bar, and nightclub, aims to provide a premium experience for both local and international patrons. Owners of the club sought inspiration from renowned entertainment destinations such as Amnesia in Ibiza when establishing their goals.
KV2 Audio’s distinct methodology was viewed as a practical answer to the club’s needs, reports KV2 Audio. A KV2 system engineer, Jakub Suchomel, evaluated the physical characteristics of the club to determine the optimal design. Following the assessment, KV2’s point-source speaker systems were chosen to realize the audio upgrade.
The primary dance area experienced a complete redesign as part of the project. The new configuration includes four SL412 loudspeakers for the main space, along with four ESD15 boxes to handle live performances. Additionally, twelve ES1.8 subwoofers were incorporated, and two SL412 loudspeakers were placed in a secondary room.
Club management have noted a substantial improvement in the quality of the audio since the upgrade was completed, KV2 Audio stated. The new system is intended to enhance the overall atmosphere and entertainment value for guests.
