Meyer Sound has become the official sound partner of David Geffen Hall, a major renovation completed in 2022 that installed a new sound system to reach every seat in the venue. The Meyer Sound Tigra line array system was installed in the hall, marking the first time this product was ordered for a concert hall. Tigra was originally developed as an early prototype cabinet for a line array, and the system includes 24 line array loudspeakers and 6 low-frequency control elements.
The Tigra system's output allowed for fewer loudspeakers than the Leopard proof of concept, and its narrow horizontal profile enables arrays to move closer to the stage. The Meyer Sound system also includes Ultra-X40 and Ultra-X22 point source loudspeakers.
Meyer Sound uses GEN-1 in Tigra line array loudspeakers, with processing handled through Galileo Galaxy Network Platforms.
