Never Found Audio has released a macOS version of VT-Mini, a free vocal tuner plugin previously available only for Windows, Monthly Mixing reported. The release brings the vocal tuning tool to Mac users for the first time. The plugin runs on macOS 12 or later and supports both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. It is available in AU, VST3, and standalone formats at no cost.
VT-Mini consists of a Tune page and a Clean page. On the Tune page, users adjust the retune, amount, natural, and variation parameters to correct pitch in real time. Key and scale can be selected, and custom scales are also supported. The Clean page offers a low-cut filter and a de-esser for additional processing.
Users can choose between two engines. The Low Latency engine is designed for tracking and has short latency. The Studio engine is intended for mixing and has longer latency but greater accuracy. Monthly Mixing reported that the plugin is available free of charge. More information is available on the Never Found Audio website.
