Premier Guitar reported that PRS Guitars has launched a limited-edition signature model for Dany Villarreal, guitarist and vocalist for The Warning. The instrument, called the Astryx, is based on the Custom 24 platform and represents Villarreal’s personal design preferences.
The Astryx Limited Edition is capped at a production run of 200 instruments for 2026, marking Villarreal’s debut signature guitar. The design incorporates a custom color fade, a unique fretboard inlay crafted from paua, gold, and mother of pearl, and her signature on the truss rod cover. Each guitar also features an autographed backplate.
Villarreal expressed her long-standing connection with PRS guitars, describing them as an integral part of her musical journey and conveying a sense of confidence and power. The name “Astryx” reflects a connection to the root word for “star,” symbolizing guidance and a sense of something larger.
