Roland is marking a decade of its Aerophone digital wind instrument platform with the Aerophone Pro Gold Limited Edition, a special version of the flagship model featuring an Anniversary Gold finish and black trim. mia.org.uk reported that the standard Aerophone Pro model has an attractive silver-and-black finish, while the limited edition conveys a distinctively elegant look.
According to the announcement, only 3,000 units will be produced, each including an exclusive carrying case with the Aerophone 10th Anniversary logo, a numbered certificate and a letter from the Aerophone R&D team. The instrument carries the same feature set as the standard Aerophone Pro, including the Roland wind sound engine, onboard Bluetooth, built-in speakers, headphone outputs and MIDI connectivity.
The limited edition is available from November at $1,799.99. The Aerophone series was first introduced in 2016 and has been adopted by a growing number of wind musicians worldwide. The lineup has expanded to include the AE-20, the recently released flute-styled Aerophone Brisa, and entry-level Aerophone GO and Aerophone mini models. Developed with input from professional wind players, each model offers a responsive playing interface and a versatile selection of sounds for all skill levels.
