Solid State Logic has unveiled O-Series V2, a software revision for its Oracle console, as reported by Mixonline. The update focuses on refining several aspects of the user experience, including session compatibility and streamlining workflows.
The new version, slated for availability in early September, significantly improves project interoperability between Oracle and Odyssey consoles. This advancement establishes a more cohesive operational flow within SSL’s Future Analogue environment.
Specifically, project files created on Odyssey consoles can now be readily opened, viewed, and modified directly on Oracle systems, even when the consoles have varying channel counts. Additionally, parameter settings linked to unique Odyssey features, like dynamic processing and filters, are preserved during transfers and edits. O-Motion, a new automation system based on a DAW plug-in, has also been incorporated.
