Taylor Guitars has announced the arrival of updated versions of its 512ce and 712ce acoustic guitars. According to Premier Guitar, both instruments incorporate design enhancements aimed at improving performance and playability.
Premier Guitar reports that the Next Generation 512ce and 712ce share a Grand Concert body shape. The instruments are constructed with solid mahogany for the back and sides, complemented by a Western Red cedar top.
Both new models benefit from Taylor’s V-Class bracing, which is intended to increase both the volume and sustain of the guitars. Players will also appreciate the Action Control Neck, designed to facilitate comfortable playing and quick adjustments to string height. The guitars also include Claria electronics, promising a clear and functional amplified sound.
The Next Generation 512ce carries a suggested retail price of $2799, as noted by Premier Guitar.
