Waves Audio will host the next iteration of its Better U one-day training series on Oct. 30 at Worley Studio in Nashville, ahead of the AES convention, fohonline.com reported. The event, running from noon to 4:45 p.m., focuses on the Waves eMotion LV1 Classic platform and targets engineers, integrators, house-of-worship leaders and audio professionals.
The program combines technical education with creative inspiration, led by Waves product specialist Jeremiah Clever and featuring collaborative sessions with front-of-house engineers Jeff Sandstrom and Lloyd Williams, the report states. Sessions will cover console signal flow, advanced mixing strategies, immersive monitoring environments, plugin integration and practical approaches to clarity and consistency in live productions.
Waves Live Sound Marketing Manager Maximilian Williams said the event is about investing in the people who make live sound happen, not selling products, according to the report. Attendees are encouraged to bring laptops for interactive participation using the LV1 offline editor, and lunch will be provided.
Registration is currently open and limited, with the event positioned for beginners through seasoned professionals in house-of-worship, touring and venue production.
