AVer Information has introduced the NC30, a newly developed network device that combines encoding and decoding capabilities. According to AVer, the device facilitates the integration of cameras, displays, and various room systems through a network connection.

The NC30 supports both encoding and decoding functions within a single unit, and it allows for the transformation of video signals between HDMI, USB-C, and NDI formats. The device accommodates 4K60 video resolution and incorporates USB-C connectivity alongside NDI HX support, HDMI pass-through functionality, and adaptable audio routing options.

Designed for environments such as meeting rooms, classrooms, and hybrid collaboration spaces, the NC30’s compact design is intended to ease the expansion of Audio Video over IP (AVoIP) implementations. The new device is intended to simplify workflows that allow users to bring their own devices and provides direct access to room cameras and AV resources from personal laptops.

The NC30 aims to ease the transition for organizations seeking to connect established AV systems with network-based workflows, and to simplify access to professional AV resources in learning and meeting areas.
