Fender has announced the next evolution of its American Professional series, the company’s flagship line of electric guitars and basses built in Corona, California. The refreshed lineup introduces player-focused design and performance upgrades designed to refine how the instruments feel, respond and hold up night after night, while preserving the character and identity that define each model.
The collection includes the Stratocaster, Stratocaster HSS, Telecaster, Hotshot Telecaster, Jazzmaster, Jaguar, Precision Bass, Precision Bass V, Jazz Bass and Jazz Bass V, Premier Guitar reported. Street prices range from $1,799.99 to $2,049.99, with international pricing listed for the U.K., Europe, Australia and Japan.
Justin Norvell, Fender’s chief product officer for guitars and basses, said the company balances modern improvements with the familiarity that made the instruments iconic. Norvell said Fender starts with players and how they are playing today, then puts that insight in the hands of designers, engineers and builders.
Fender CEO Edward Cole said the series reflects player insight, experimentation and craftsmanship. The launch is a centerpiece of The One. For All., a broader campaign featuring artists including Dinosaur Jr., Mike Kinsella of American Football, Lindsey Jordan of Snail Mail and Thurston Moore Group, with city-focused chapters planned for London, Tokyo, Shanghai and Sydney.
