A handcrafted Olympus Custom Purple Swan guitar valued at $7,000 will headline a raffle at the Captured Live event on December 2, 2026, at Empire Music Studios, 9 Northern Rd Heidelberg West, Australian Musician reported.
The instrument, donated by Johnny Prapas, features a two-piece swamp ash hollow body, American flame maple set neck, pale moon ebony fingerboard, Nick Silver Swan Model pickups, a Paradox high-end aluminium alloy bridge and locking tuners. A maximum of 300 raffle tickets will be sold at $25 each, with all proceeds going to NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia. Framed prints by photographer Jason Rosewarne will be available for purchase on the night, with funds also donated to the charity.
The event celebrates Rosewarne’s photography and three decades of Australian Musician magazine, with a concert featuring Geoff Achison, Shannon Bourne, Jimi Hocking, Kathleen Halloran, Lloyd Spiegel and others. A live album recorded at the event will direct sales proceeds to the cancer charity.
