Spira Guitars has introduced the S-457 Multiscale TBL to its 450 Series, featuring a 25.5 to 27-inch scale layout designed to provide extra tension on lower strings while maintaining familiar playability higher up the neck. This addition targets modern extended-range players seeking clarity and control across all seven strings. The instrument features a roasted poplar body, quilted maple top, Canadian roasted maple neck, and Spira Villain seven-string humbuckers. It is priced at a UK SRP of £439 and is available immediately through Almires UK.
Joining the new model is the T-407 MGR, which now offers a Satin Green finish alongside its existing Satin Black option. The T-407 retains its 26.5-inch scale, roasted poplar body, and Ebony Tech fingerboard, maintaining a firm build for modern metal applications at a UK SRP of £339. Both models are distributed exclusively by Almires UK, which notes that seven-string guitars represent a strong growth area for the brand.
Lee Alexander, Managing Director of Almires UK, stated that Spira delivers quality and specification at price points that are difficult to match. The new additions provide dealers with increased inventory options in a category experiencing real momentum. These releases reinforce Spira’s position in the extended-range market by offering modern specs and value to retailers and end-users alike. mia.org.uk reported that the company has been central to the growth of extended-range instruments, delivering high-quality specifications at competitive price points that are hard to match in the current market landscape.
