St Wendel, Germany // October 29, 2026…HK Audio’s POLAR MK2 family of column speakers has grown with the launch of POLAR 15 MK2. The active column PA system combines a 15″ subwoofer in a generously sized multiplex enclosure with an integrated M20 FlexMount for additional lighting and show equipment. It delivers crystal-clear sound and powerful low-frequency response for DJs, bands and event professionals, while also offering practical options for stage setup.
The HK Audio POLAR 15 MK2 is a versatile sound reinforcement solution for DJs, performers, entertainers, bands and demanding events. At its heart is the 15″ subwoofer. Its generously sized multiplex enclosure delivers powerful, defined bass and increased sound pressure in the low-frequency range. The result is a solid, punchy bass foundation, while the column speaker provides clear, consistent reproduction of vocals and instruments.
Robust column, easy transport
The column speaker, made from a low-resonance aluminium profile, helps ensure clear reproduction of vocals and instruments. A newly developed connector securely joins the column elements to the subwoofer and spacer, keeping them firmly in place while still allowing quick removal for mobile use.
Ergonomic HK Audio MultiGrip handles and additional handling grips make the subwoofer easier to lift and load. A padded carrying bag for the column elements and a transport cover for the subwoofer are included.
M20 FlexMount: Lighting and show accessories mounted directly on the subwoofer
The integrated M20 thread allows distance poles for compact lighting systems and other show accessories to be mounted directly on the subwoofer. This can eliminate the need for additional stands, reducing the amount of gear to transport, keeping the stage setup tidy and making setup and teardown quicker. The system can therefore be adapted flexibly to different event and stage configurations.
Built-in mixer, Bluetooth and DSP
The integrated 4-channel mixer makes the POLAR 15 MK2 a self-contained sound reinforcement solution. Two XLR/jack combo inputs accept microphone and line signals. There is also a high-impedance instrument input for guitars and an Aux channel for DJ equipment and other playback devices. Phantom power can be switched on for condenser microphones.
Music can be streamed wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0, while Bluetooth TWS lets you pair two POLAR MK2 systems for true stereo playback. Master volume, level indicators and a push-to-edit button make operation straightforward. AUSB-Cport helps keep smartphones, tablets and battery-powered wireless microphone receivers charged.
The integrated DSP tools offer Music, Voice and DJ sound modes. The 3-band EQ and semi-parametric midrange EQ provide additional sound-shaping options, and custom settings can be saved in five user presets. The delay function also allows the system to be used as a delay line.
