Medina’s Quba Mosque has integrated a Harman Professional audio solution after completing its largest expansion under the King Salman Project. The facility now spans 50,000sqm and can host up to 66,000 worshippers across its newly expanded interior. The audio design features JBL SRX906 line array loudspeakers positioned in the mosque’s four minarets, a first for Saudi Arabia.
Inside the prayer halls, JBL CBT 70J Series column loudspeakers ensure vertical coverage and balanced sound. Additional speakers from the Control and AWC Series handle outdoor and auxiliary spaces. BSS EC-8BV controllers and BLU-series DSP processors support the system, while Crown XTi and CDi DriveCore amplifiers provide power. The entire installation was designed to maintain the mosque’s spiritual atmosphere and architectural integrity.
