Red Octane has confirmed that Stage Tour, the successor to the Guitar Hero franchise, will launch on December 10 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. According to MusicRadar, the title features a soundtrack exceeding 90 tracks and supports existing instrument controllers alongside new peripherals. The release arrives just in time for Christmas, offering fans a chance to play during the festive period.
Specific hardware bundles are available for purchase alongside the software. MusicRadar reports that a game copy paired with a Kramer wireless guitar controller is priced at £119.99, while a two-guitar bundle costs £179.99. A comprehensive Band bundle including guitar, drums and a microphone retails for £269.99. Gibson, which owns the Kramer brand, secured a licensing deal with the developer to feature the Gibson Garage Nashville as the game’s front-end interface.
The soundtrack includes contributions from major acts such as Extreme, the Rolling Stones, Paramore, Weezer, Slipknot and Radiohead. MusicRadar notes that emerging artists like Electric Callboy, Good Kid and Jfarrari are also included, with these musicians expecting a sales boost from their presence on the tracklist. Red Octane stated its objective is to bring the rhythm game back better than ever before. Pre-orders are currently being accepted directly through the Red Octane website for interested players.
