String up the Low End with ADDAC Bass Headstock & Bridge Adding to the guitar headstock announced in June, this is the base of the ADDAC String modules, covering low frequency territory. The product consists of headstock and bridge modules, allowing for string gauges up to.110. Strings are installed just like they woud be on a traditional guitar—users are free to choose whichever strings to install and what tuning to use. The headstock features 4 bass tuners, and both module panels use 2mm stainless steel for strength.
A fretted position on the Eurorack The ADDAC128 Frets and Microtonal modules are able to create a fretted position anywhere on the frame; its placement requires a tuner to get it to the right position for the intended pitch, and several modules can be placed for more notes. The height of each module is calibrated using the 2 screws on the front.
To avoid any buzzing, each fret needs to be set slightly lower then the previous one. Once the order and heights are set the first time, users should keep the same order for next the next uses as the plastic may slightly deform and not recover from it’s first setup—the product comes with labeling circles for this purpose.
