Eckroth Music has named Brad Shaw president, effective Oct. 6. He will lead day-to-day operations while working with owner and CEO Jeff Eckroth and the company’s leadership team.
Shaw joined the Bismarck, North Dakota-based music retailer in March 2024 and most recently served as vice president of sales and marketing. He has a background in instrumental music education and more than a decade of experience in the musical products industry.
“Brad has earned the trust and confidence of our Board, leadership team, and me,” Jeff Eckroth said. “He knows our business, our customers, and the people who make this company special. I have great confidence in Brad and in the way he will lead Eckroth Music forward.”
Shaw said he was honored to take on the role and looked forward to supporting the company’s employees, customers and vendor partners.
Founded more than 50 years ago, employee-owned Eckroth Music operates eight stores across North Dakota, Montana, Minnesota and Wisconsin. The company provides band and orchestra instrument rentals, sales, repairs, accessories and music education support.
