Nick MacLellan has released Echo Alpha Delta: A Guitar Map, a 48-page, full-color guitar instruction book organized around three color-coded fretboard shapes.
The author describes the shapes as a way for players to locate chord patterns across the guitar neck. The book is intended for players from beginning level onward and was submitted for use in individual study and guitar classes.
Echo Alpha Delta Publishing publishes the book, which carries ISBN 978-1-0680118-0-1. A free companion website includes a fretboard trainer and a daily game.
The companion tools provide additional opportunities to practice the fretboard patterns described in the book. The release identifies MacLellan as the author; the publisher is based in Nova Scotia, Canada.
