HK Audio expanded its audio system for the Turnpike Reggae Festival held in Herzebrock‑Clarholz, Germany. The festival featured roots reggae, modern reggae, and dancehall music, with HK Audio’s COSMO system serving as the main audio setup for the event . MA Holtewert supplied the production equipment for the festival, which took place in mid‑August . The full system included 12 COSMO C 10 and eight C 6 mid/high units, along with CONTOUR X CX 210 frontfills and CX 12 stage monitors .
Four CS 218 and four CF 118 subwoofers were added to the COSMO rig, with all‑pass filters used to achieve consistent audience coverage . The additional subwoofers provided extra low‑frequency impact for reggae, while the festival was run entirely by volunteers . Joel ‘Kush’ Brown joined headliner Dr. Ring Ding on stage, highlighting the event’s collaborative spirit . HK Audio maintains close relationships with regional rental partners, ensuring professional support for events like this .
