Jeff Loomis and Von Frankenstein Monster Gear have introduced the Raven VI and Raven VII signature guitar string sets. The six-string and seven-string sets are intended for the guitarist’s preferred half-step tuning.

The strings use treated hexagonal steel cores wrapped with nickel-plated steel. According to the company’s release, each string is made individually on a workbench in the United States using domestically sourced materials.

The Raven VI set has gauges of .009, .012, .016, .026, .036 and .048. The Raven VII uses the same six gauges with an additional .062 string for its lower register.

The company lists street prices of $7.99 for the Raven VI set and $9.99 for the Raven VII. Loomis is known for his work with Nevermore, Conquering Dystopia and his solo recordings.
