Proel has released firmware 2.0 for the DIGIPAD8 mixer, adding direct fader control of Aux Send, FX Send and output level. The update also allows users to rename channels.
The firmware includes eight reverb types and three editable effects parameters. USB can be assigned to channels 5 and 6, while Bluetooth can be assigned to channels 7 and 8. Other interface changes are intended to simplify routine operation.
The new firmware is available for existing DIGIPAD8 owners to install. It will also be preinstalled on the limited-edition DIGIPAD8LE. The company supplies the firmware update with installation instructions.
