Ida Maria Grassi has introduced the GR CLB400 B-flat bass clarinet for bands, schools and beginning players. The instrument belongs to the brand’s School line.
The bass clarinet has an ABS body and a 21-key Boehm system with a nickel-plated mechanism. Leather pads provide sealing across the instrument’s range.
The design includes a bell resting point and a spike to support the instrument during performance. The company identifies resistance to humidity and temperature changes as considerations behind its choice of body material.
The GR CLB400 is supplied with a foam case, mouthpiece and ligature, strap, spike, cork grease and cleaning cloth. Proel distributes the instrument as part of its musical instrument offering.
