Proel North America has introduced the Dexibell VIVO S2, a portable keyboard with battery-powered operation, a 68-key TP-8P keyboard and a weight of 18.7 pounds. The instrument is made in Italy and includes a joystick for pitch bend and modulation control.
The VIVO S2 uses Dexibell’s T2L sampling and modeling engine, with up to 320 oscillators and wave decays lasting up to 15 seconds on lower piano notes. It has 3.2 GB of wave memory, 180 onboard sounds and more than 100 organ presets.
Performance features include four keyboard parts, four MIDI zones, layered and split sounds, 115 effect macro presets and Seamless Transition technology. The slightly weighted, dual-contact keyboard starts on a low A. A Virtual Damper function simulates sustain-pedal response when a pedal is not connected.
Connections include USB digital audio and MIDI, Bluetooth audio streaming and MIDI BLE 4.2. The keyboard records WAV audio at 48 kHz and 32-bit float to USB storage and plays WAV, AIFF and MP3 files. Other tools include a metronome, transpose functions and MIDI foot-pedal support.
The announced retail price is $2,499.99 through Proel North America’s authorized dealers. Pricing and delivery schedules may vary by region.
