Samson has partnered with Long Island recording studio Montclair Records to supply gear to emerging New York-area musicians through a live music showcase series called The Crossfade Collective, according to Samson Technologies.
The manufacturer will donate microphones, headphones, cables and additional equipment to performers at every Crossfade Collective show and will offer sponsorships to select artists to support their careers, Samson Technologies reported.
Montclair Records operates as a Long Island, New York, recording studio providing professional recording, mixing, mastering and music production services, Samson Technologies said. The studio also hosts live music events under The Crossfade Collective banner, featuring prominent local acts and placing artists at some of the hottest venues in the scene.
The New York Times featured Montclair Records in April 2016 in a piece spotlighting the company’s goal of bringing together the talented and vibrant music scene of Long Island, Samson Technologies noted. The studio has helped promising artists gain exposure through recording and mixing their work and staging live performances.
