Robinson to Play On Live
Westlake Village, CA – October 8, 2025 – Sessionwire, the remote collaboration platform built for musicians, offering studio-quality audio and high-definition video, together with ILIO, a premier distributor of virtual instruments and audio production tools, invite musicians and producers to submit their tracks for a chance to collaborate with Grammy®-winning drummer John “JR” Robinson.
Widely regarded as one of the most recorded drummers, JR Robinson’s credits include collaborations with Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Daft Punk, and many others. This event gives one winning musician the rare opportunity to work with Robinson in real time as he records live drums on the winning track streamed directly from his Sessionwire virtual studio.
Submissions are open now and close October 27, 2025. The winning song will be chosen by a panel of judges, and JR will perform it live during the event, streaming Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 11 AM PT.
