United Studio Technologies has introduced the UT Tube67, a large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone based on a classic German microphone design. The company announced the model Sept. 30, 2025, for recording vocals, acoustic instruments and other studio sources.

The microphone uses a new old stock EF86 pentode tube, a gold-sputtered capsule and a custom transformer made in the United States. A switchable Air Mod changes the high-frequency response. The transformer uses high-nickel alloy laminations and a copper Faraday shield.

The UT Tube67 includes a regulated power supply, a custom Sommer Octave seven-conductor cable, a storage pouch and a shockmount. Final testing and packing take place at United Studio Technologies’ headquarters in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Company co-founder Cave Daughdrill said the project aimed to retain the character of the earlier microphone design while making it accessible and reliable for current studio use. The announced U.S. minimum advertised price is $1,199, with a European suggested selling price of 1,599 euros including 19% value-added tax. Distribution is through authorized dealers and distributors.
