RB Production used ADJ lighting fixtures for Kalimba’s concert at El Foro Palacio Jai Alai in Tijuana, Mexico.

Ramón M. Bernal’s design combined three overhead lighting bridges, four side towers and floor positions. The arrangement provided layers of light for the singer and band, moving between restrained ballad looks and more energetic sections of the performance.

The equipment included Jolt 300 fixtures for white and RGB strobe effects and Encore Burst 200 dual-cell warm-white blinders. The first bridge carried 20 Encore Burst 200 units, each using two 110-watt sources.

The side towers combined Elation Platinum Beam 5R fixtures with additional Jolt 300 units. Together, the positions allowed the production to build depth around the performers and direct effects into the room.

The manufacturer’s account describes a system designed to serve different musical moods within the same concert, using the overhead, side and floor layers rather than relying on a single bank of fixtures.
