D’Angelico Guitars has announced that they will be sponsoring the World Surf League’s Vans U.S. Open of Surfing, which will be held from July 29th to August 6th in Huntington Beach, California.
D’Angelico will have a display of their guitars on the beach at the event, and also will be providing guitars for the on-site House of Vans: Guitar Lessons with Jared and Jonathan of The Mattson 2.
The company will also be hosting a guitar and surfboard giveaway at its booth and online, and attendees at the competition can participate in an on-site scavenger hunt and open mic. Guests who complete a certain number of list items will be entered in a drawing to win an Excel Series guitar of their choice and a custom D’Angelico-branded surfboard.
In addition, the D’Angelico booth will feature a performance and signing from professional surfer Conner Coffin.
