Focusrite and Klevgrand have launched Altitude Harmony, their first joint VST plug-in, delivering instant vocal harmonies and pitch correction. According to Synthtopia, the product is a streamlined version of a full plug-in Klevgrand released earlier this year, designed for simpler navigation.
Synthtopia reports that the two manufacturers have collaborated for years, but Altitude Harmony marks their first co-branded product. Focusrite managing director Tim Dingley said the result is simple and creates joy for users. Klevgrand CEO Tobias Engström said bringing the Altitude concept to a wider audience through Focusrite was an easy decision.
The plug-in tunes vocals and stacks harmonies using a single dial to control the number of voices and their placement above or below the lead. An advanced pitch engine selects notes within the chosen scale. A Style dial adjusts pitch correction from transparent to fully locked while preserving formants. Four one-button character effects — Droid, Clones, Vibrato and Tremolo — require no configuration. The plug-in includes low-latency settings for tracking and stage use.
Synthtopia reports Altitude Harmony is available now at an introductory price of $29.99, down from a regular price of $49.99. It runs as VST3, AU and AAX on macOS and Windows through the Klevgrand website.
