Guild has introduced Starfire Deluxe guitars in single-cutaway and double-cutaway configurations. The models are part of the Newark St. Collection of vintage-inspired guitars and basses.
The Starfire Deluxe guitars use HB-2+ humbucking pickups with Alnico V magnets. Their design draws on Guild’s instruments of the 1960s while incorporating contemporary appointments.
The Deluxe trim package includes rosewood fingerboards with pearloid block inlays, ivory binding on the body, F-holes and fingerboard, and pearloid Guild Peak logo and Chesterfield headstock inlays. Other appointments include three-ply black and ivory purfling on the top and back, a black pickguard and a rosewood bridge base.
