JVC has introduced the HA-FW5100T WOOD Masterpiece, a flagship set of true wireless earbuds built for listeners who want natural sound, immersive playback, and premium construction, according to a Premier Guitar report. The earbuds combine the company’s genuine wood-diaphragm technology with active noise cancellation, spatial audio, and electric-guitar-inspired styling, utilizing Bluetooth 5.4.
Premier Guitar reports the HA-FW5100T features JVC’s genuine wood diaphragm, intended to reproduce warm, natural sound with depth and clarity. A dot-and-convex pattern on the driver minimizes internal reflections. JVC’s proprietary K2 technology upscales any audio source to near hi-res quality, restoring digital detail lost in compression.
The earbuds’ Dynamic Spatial Audio feature is built on JVC’s EXOFIELD technology, recreating the acoustic environment of a JVC recording studio for a spacious, three-dimensional soundstage. The JVC app creates personalized correction filters, and the earbuds offer 10 sound modes, including five presets tuned by studio engineers.
Premier Guitar notes the HA-FW5100T takes visual cues from iconic electric guitars, with a premium finish and durable construction. The earbuds play a guitar note when powered on. JVC says their accurate sound reproduction makes them well suited to listening to and monitoring music demos.
The earbuds provide up to 10.5 hours of playback on a single charge, with the charging case supplying an additional 21 hours. The HA-FW5100T is available in Piano Black and Sunburst Brown finishes, with a street price of $299.95.
