Sound designer Scott McAuley has unveiled Elixir Volume 1, a fresh sound library and oscillator collection for the Korg Prologue synthesizer family. This release expands the sonic possibilities of the Prologue series by adding three new custom multi engine oscillators and five wavetable oscillators.
The DXOSC is an FM oscillator offering 25 algorithms, adjustable 2:1 and 3/4:1 ratios, and a mod generator LFO with 24 shapes. Users can choose to disable the TZFM oscillator and rely on the 90 available waveforms. The shape knob allows mixing between Wave A and Wave B, providing flexibility to combine and match sounds as desired.
