MeldaProduction has introduced Analog Empire: Plucks & Keys, an instrument for its MSoundFactory platform. The release is the second installment in the Analog Empire line and includes 32 sampled synthesizer sounds.
The instrument allows users to layer two sounds and blend them according to the key played or note velocity. Each layer has controls for pitch, drift, pluck, tone and stereo spread. An analog-style multimode filter and an amplitude envelope provide additional sound-shaping options.
Effects include rotary processing, amplifier simulation, chorus, delay, reverb and a lo-fi tape effect. The instrument also includes presets and a main control for blending its two layers.
Plucks & Keys is included at no additional charge for MSoundFactory and MSoundFactoryLE owners through MPluginManager. Other users can run it in the free MSoundFactory Player. The announced release date was May 26, 2025. The launch included a two-week free license offer followed by introductory pricing; the announced regular price was 69 euros. The instrument and host software are available from MeldaProduction.
