Novation has launched the FLPad and FLPad Mini, its first dedicated pad controllers for FL Studio, MusicRadar reported. The announcement covers two new pad controller models from the company, both carrying the FLPad name.
MusicRadar reported that the FLPad and FLPad Mini represent Novation’s first dedicated pad controllers designed for use with FL Studio. The report identifies the devices as pad controllers, meaning they feature pads as their primary interface for controlling the software.
The launch includes two versions: the standard FLPad and the FLPad Mini. MusicRadar reported both models as dedicated controllers for FL Studio, indicating they are intended to work with that specific music production software rather than serving as general-purpose devices.
The announcement was made public through MusicRadar, which reported on the introduction of these two new products. The FLPad and FLPad Mini are identified as pad controllers, a category of hardware used by music producers to trigger sounds and control software functions through pressure-sensitive pads.
MusicRadar reported that these are the first dedicated pad controllers Novation has produced for FL Studio. The company previously offered other controller products, but the FLPad line marks its first dedicated pad controller offering for this particular software platform.
