Positive Grid has introduced the Spark PEDAL, a new device for electric, bass, and acoustic musicians. This portable rig allows players to access Spark amp capabilities during live shows, rehearsals, home sessions, and recording work. The unit fits easily into various musical environments, enabling quick sound design without complex procedures. Premier Guitar reported that the product serves as a complete solution for diverse performance needs.

Musicians can integrate the pedal into current boards to gain a full amplification system or link it straight to a public address system for a simplified configuration. It also functions as an audio interface for computer-based recording. Those with favorite amplifiers may skip the internal modeling features to utilize the device strictly as an effects unit ahead of their gear. Silent practice is possible via stereo headphone outputs, while Bluetooth connectivity supports jamming along with tracks from mobile devices.

The hardware includes multifunction knobs and durable footswitches for controlling gain, equalization, drive, modulation, delay, and reverb. A built-in tuner activates by holding the center knob. Six presets are storable across two banks, with LEDs showing status and battery life. A sixty-second looper allows recording and overdubbing without menu navigation. The companion app offers text-based tone suggestions, custom signal chain building, real-time chord displays, and access to a global library of shared sounds.
