Positive Grid has introduced the Spark CAB 2, a powered full-range flat-response speaker cabinet priced at USD $399 and available in Black or Pearl finishes, according to Premier Guitar.
The publication reports the cabinet delivers 140 watts RMS through a 10-inch woofer and two 1-inch tweeters, with a lightweight wood enclosure, re-tuned acoustics for added clarity and a tighter low end, and a revised signal path with updated conversion and gain staging.
Premier Guitar says a dedicated Spark input connects directly to Spark amps, while stereo combo XLR/TRS inputs and a balanced XLR output accommodate modelers, pedals and other gear with line-level outputs. The XLR output can feed a PA while the cabinet serves as a personal stage monitor, with independent volume controls for stage and audience levels.
The cabinet powers and charges Spark amps from one outlet, the outlet reported. A USB-C port handles charging for Spark MINI, GO and PEDAL plus firmware updates, while DC output powers Spark 40 and Spark 2. Special upgrade pricing is offered to current Spark CAB 1 owners.
Premier Guitar lists availability through positivegrid.com, local retailers and Amazon.
