According to MusicRadar, the update introduces Lucid Beatgrids, a new analysis process designed to handle tracks with fluctuating tempos more accurately than previous iterations. This technology aims to reduce manual editing for genres like funk and disco, potentially increasing workflow efficiency for professional DJs.
The release also enables simultaneous streaming from multiple services, including Apple Music, Tidal, and Spotify, within a single session without requiring users to switch accounts. MusicRadar reports that each service now appears as a distinct crate in the library, with enhanced search tools and pre-analysis display of BPM and key data. While these core features arrive in both Serato DJ Pro and the free Lite version, Pro users gain exclusive access to Cue Loops for saving and triggering predefined loop points.
