British lighting control manufacturer Avolites has announced Peyre Emmanuel as the winner of its Golden Console competition, awarding a unique 24-carat gold-plated D3-010 console. LSi Online reported that the draw occurred live at the PLASA London show and was conducted by Josef Valchar, CEO of Robe lighting. This exclusive hardware represents the only unit of its kind in existence and serves as the centerpiece of the company’s 50th anniversary celebrations. The contest ran from 1 February to 31 August 2026, attracting 854 global entrants who accumulated Golden Tokens by completing various Avolites activities over seven months.

Participants earned entry by attending official events, completing Avolites Academy courses, and participating in monthly hidden challenges alongside social media posts using the specific hashtag. The final selection drew from the top 50 individuals on the Golden Token leaderboard. While the winner could not attend the event, Avolites confirmed it will arrange direct delivery of the specialized console. Jon Hole, product and marketing manager for Avolites, stated that the initiative successfully highlighted community engagement across training sessions and shows on the road. The promotion supported a broader brand presence at PLASA London, which featured demonstrations of the full console range and the first training sessions on Prism since its launch. As part of its ongoing anniversary strategy, the manufacturer plans to continue celebrations at the upcoming LDI trade show in Las Vegas this December.
