D’Addario has introduced two new capo models to its guitar accessory lineup: the Artist+ Carbon Capo, the company’s first carbon fiber capo design, and an updated black Artist Capo. According to Premier Guitar, both models feature D’Addario’s patented FlexFit Technology, which automatically adapts to different fretboard radii and string gauges to distribute pressure evenly across strings and frets for improved tuning stability.
Each capo includes an adjustable spring tension micrometer allowing players to dial in exact pressure for buzz-free fretting without pulling strings out of tune, Premier Guitar reported. Both models also feature a built-in pick holder and are designed for one-handed operation.
The Artist+ Carbon Capo is assembled in the USA with ultra-lightweight carbon fiber construction, delivering pro-grade strength without adding weight to the guitar neck. The updated Artist Capo brings the same FlexFit performance to D’Addario’s original capo design, giving players two distinct options built around the same proprietary technology.
