Guild has introduced Starfire Custom semi-hollow, double-cutaway guitars as part of its Newark St. Collection of vintage-inspired guitars and basses. The instruments draw on the company’s 1960s-era designs while adding contemporary appointments.
Starfire Custom guitars feature DeArmond Dynasonic single-coil pickups. The Custom trim package includes ebony fingerboards, binding and purfling, mother-of-pearl inlays and tortoise pickguards.
GH models include gold hardware. Across the line, the guitars offer different combinations of tonewoods, hardware and gloss finishes. The models represent a separate specification and trim option within the Starfire guitar family.
